Solar Cooking Vessel

Forced Migration

Working with Engineers Without Boarders for their “Where There is No Engineer” project. I designed a means of making Parabolic ovens more accessible.

Solar Cooking Vessel

Solar Cooking Vessel

With the rise in popularity of parabolic cooking dishes in refugee camps and the growing problem of firewood supply. I designed a vessel which would improve the ease of use and efficiency related to parabolic cooking mirrors.

The air gap between the inner vessel and the outer glass would significantly improve insulation while still allowing the radiation to be absorbed by the black surface inside. this would improve cooking times and decrease the reliance on firewood.
